May 2018 Monthly Analysis

May continues the general upward trend of our monthly options trading strategy that begins in the previous month. This month has favorable historical performance with an impressive 9 out of 10 winning history. Pay special attention to the Risk v. Reward graph (below) for a visual representation of how this month compares to the strategy as a whole. Note that for every return, this month consistently outperforms the monthly strategy as a whole for our charted returns.

A glance at the trade history tells a similar story with only 2012 producing major losses. To be perfectly clear, our historical data indicates May has been a very successful month, however, be mindful when trading. We still recommend following our target guidelines to book profits as soon as they are presented and then close your positions to mitigate risk.
