Analysis

By all accounts, June should be a great month for our Monthly Options trading strategy members. All of the historical data is incredibly positive and we are primed for a good month. All of the key statistics are inline with the previous month and continue the general trend for better trades out of this strategy as we move through the year (long time members have no doubt seen this same trend).

The trade history shows mostly winning results with mixed results in '15 and '04. This has produced an 88% winning history, which is even more impressive than last months and about 3 points higher than the strategy as a whole. Rounding out our stats is a triple digit winning history which is of course over double our target profit range.

The history paints a rosy picture, however, as we encountered last month, the market can go an entirely different direction. Oddly, the misstep last month is a good sign for this month. It is quite rare for the strategy to have consecutive losing months.

Trade Recommendations

First and foremost, we have headroom for our picks which is always a good position to start. Ideally we would like to see gains early on and would encourage folks to lock in profits asap. If you are more risk averse or are not happy with the current market sentiment you can always take a half position today and cost average down on Monday, should the market gap down. That exact strategy would have played out quite nicely in April and May. Sure, if we gap up on Monday, you would have missed out on a return of the half you did not allocate, but you might be able to sleep better after the close tonight.
