Analysis
May may just be the best overall Spring month for the Monthly Options strategy. Historically, this month has produced better overall results than April and continues the overall improvement in statistics as we get further into the year.
Starting with the key statistics (above), you can see we have experienced a better than average winning history and an average return that is over double the top end of our target profit range. Bear in mind, these statistics have held up for over 20 years with trades dating back to the late 90s (our database only has records back to 2002).
Below, the risk vs. reward chart strengthens the overall narrative. The top line represents the winning history for May vs. a sought return. You can see that May has outperformed the strategy across the board (bottom line). In May, a 20% return was achieved 80% of the time and a 50% return was achieved 60% of the time. This data represents overall trades, meaning you can seek better returns by diving into the historically successful picks below or through your own trading experience.
Finally, you can see a bevy of successful picks below. AAPL, AMZN, and GOOG have been very consistent winners for the month. GOOG boasts an equally impressive average return.

Trade Recommendations
This week's run up to the Monthly Options alerts looks quite favorable. This strategy typically provides us with a nice lift the following week and it is good to see an opportunity where we are not entering today at all time highs. Our normal target profit range is in full effect.
